SMS and call packages
A rule can send an SMS or make a phone call only when your account has a balance. You buy the balance in packages from the shop.
The packages
Section titled “The packages”You see the prices on the page of each package in the shop.
Each SMS that a rule sends lowers the SMS balance by one. Each call lowers the call balance by one.
Buy a package
Section titled “Buy a package”- Open the side menu and tap Account.
- In the Allowances section, tap Get a package. The shop opens in a new tab.
- Select the package and complete the order.
- After the payment, look at the Allowances section again. The balance is higher.
If the balance did not increase, maybe you used a different e-mail in the shop. Send the order number to contact@hamsystems.eu. See Contact support.
If a partner manages your account, ask your partner for the package.
Your balance
Section titled “Your balance”On the Account page, the Allowances section shows how many SMS Messages and Phonecall Alerts are left.
Tap Details to see the Resources table. The table shows each package, when it was added and when it expires. Packages of 100 are valid for 1 year from the purchase. Packages of 200 are valid for 2 years. What you do not use by then is lost.
When the balance gets low
Section titled “When the balance gets low”- When the balance gets low, the app tells you, for example with Your SMS balance is running out!
- With a zero balance, the SMS is not sent and the call is not made. The bell shows a failure message.
- Push and e-mail alerts continue to work, because they need no balance.
How many messages a rule sends
Section titled “How many messages a rule sends”A rule sends a message once when it triggers. It sends again only after it resets and triggers again. There is also a rate limit, so a sensor that changes all the time does not use up the full package.
To use fewer messages, set a longer FOR time in the condition. See Conditions and timing and Push, e-mail, SMS, call.
