HAM ThermoSensePT

The HAM ThermoSensePT logs temperature from a PT100 or PT1000 resistance probe. It is for industrial applications that need accuracy and a wide temperature range.
The serial number starts with e51:.
What it measures
Section titled “What it measures”| Reading | Unit | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature | °C | From the PT100 or PT1000 probe. |
Typical uses
Section titled “Typical uses”- Industrial processes with PT100 or PT1000 probes.
- Tanks, pipes and thermowells.
- Temperature records for HACCP.
Installation
Section titled “Installation”Connect the PT100 or PT1000 probe to the terminals of the device. Set in the settings if the probe has 2 or 3 wires. Put the probe at the point you want to monitor, for example in the thermowell.
You connect the device to WiFi from the mobile app. See Connect to WiFi.
For installation and availability, contact us.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”- 3-wire probe: turn it on for a 3-wire probe.
- Res. at Ref. Temperature (R0): the resistance of the probe at 0 °C. It is 100 Ω for PT100 and 1000 Ω for PT1000.
- Internal Ref. Res. (RR): the reference resistance of the measuring circuit. Change it only if we tell you to.
- Calibration table (in Advanced): field correction, up to 6 points. It is not a laboratory certificate.
- Alarm buzzer mode: the device makes a sound when an alarm is active. It is on by default.
Recommended rules
Section titled “Recommended rules”The Recommended setups button on the device page suggests:
- An alert when the temperature goes out of range.
- An alert when the device stops sending data.
See Your first alert.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- The temperature is off by a constant amount: check the R0 and 3-wire probe settings. They must match the probe.
- For other problems, see wrong values and device offline.
