Subscriptions and SIM for GPS

Most HAM devices need no subscription. Monitoring has no monthly fee. GPS trackers need a subscription for the data of their SIM.

The SIM of GPS trackers

A GPS tracker sends its position through the mobile network. For this, it has a SIM with data inside.

• Trackers are usually sold with SIM data for 6 or 12 months.
• Some product variants in the shop include a subscription. That is why the same product can have more than one option.
• The renewal is a SIM product in the shop.

When the SIM expires

If you do not renew the SIM, the tracker loses the connection. It stops sending its position, and the app shows it as offline.

The history of the tracker stays in the platform. You can see the old routes and export them. See Map and GPS routes.

Tip

Renew the SIM before it expires. If you do not know when it expires or which product you need, send the serial number of the tracker to contact@hamsystems.eu.

Packages for the account

SMS, call and extra rule packages go into your account. They are not for one device. See SMS and call packages.

Accounts through a partner

If you bought from an installer or a partner, the partner can manage your subscriptions. Then ask the partner for the renewal. See Management by an installer or partner.
