Device families (serial numbers)

The serial number

Each device has a serial number with the format family:number, for example e12:57.

Part	Example	What it means
Family	e12	The type of the device. See the tables below.
Number	57	The specific device in the family.

You find the serial number:

• On the label of the device.
• In the S/N field of the Firmware section, on the device page.
• In the name of the WiFi network that the device shows in setup mode, for example HAMe12_57 for the device e12:57.

Always give the serial number when you contact support.
