The message
Section titled “The message”The app writes a message from the conditions, for example “Fridge Temperature is above 8 °C”. You can change it. For SMS and calls, the message has a maximum of 70 characters.
Messages of reset actions start with [Resolved].
- The e-mail subject is
hamOS™ Alert -and the rule name. On reset, the subject ends with[RESOLVED]. - If the e-mail address of your account is not confirmed, the app shows Your email is not validated. The rule e-mails are not sent until you confirm it.
- With Email other, the recipient first gets a confirmation e-mail.
- HAM sends alerts to that address only after the recipient confirms it.
- The alert e-mail shows your e-mail address as the user who made the rule.
SMS and phone call
Section titled “SMS and phone call”- Type the number in the Telephone No field. The country code default is +30.
- For a call, select the language of the voice: Greek, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch or German.
- With no balance, the app shows This needs an SMS package or This needs a Phonecall package. See SMS and call packages.
Webhook
Section titled “Webhook”The Webhook action sends the rule data to a URL. Another system uses it, for example a shift planner or a ticket system. HAM enables webhooks for each account. If you see Webhooks are not enabled for your account, contact support. For your technician: Webhooks from rules.
Device control
Section titled “Device control”After the alerts, the action list shows your devices, groups, floorplans and scenes.
| Target | What it does |
|---|---|
| A device with an output | Sets the output to a value that you select, for example ON or OFF. See Output controls (relays, switches). |
| A group or floorplan | Turn on or Turn off all its outputs. See Device groups. |
| A scene | Activate scene. See Scenes. |
AFTER on an action
Section titled “AFTER on an action”Each action has an AFTER time. With 0, the action runs at once. With another value, the action waits for that time. For example: an app alert at once, and an SMS AFTER 10 minutes.
Notification setup
Section titled “Notification setup”The Notification setup button adds the alerts that you used in another rule, all together. Then you do not type the same numbers and addresses again.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Up to 12 actions in each rule, together with the reset actions.
- The app does not save the rule if a field is empty or not correct. Then it shows a message.
- Examples of messages: Email cannot be empty, Telephone cannot be empty, URL is not valid.
