HAM BLE Beacons
HAM supports two Bluetooth beacons with a battery:
- SOS Beacon, with a serial number that starts with
b6:, - Motion Light Beacon, with a serial number that starts with
b7:. It also measures motion and light.
How they connect
Section titled “How they connect”The beacons have no internet connection of their own. They need a HAM WiFi device with the BLE hub feature, or a GPS tracker, near them. That device hears the beacon and sends its readings to the app. The Heard by reading shows which device heard the beacon last.
