Glossary
The first column has the term as the English app shows it. The second column has the term in the Greek app.
Devices

| Device | Συσκευή | A HAM device, or a device from another manufacturer that connects to the platform. |
| Serial number | Σειριακός αριθμός | The unique number of the device, with the format e12:57. See Device families (serial numbers). |
| Family | Οικογένεια | The type of the device. It is the first part of the serial number. |
| Device key (D/K) | Κλειδί συσκευής (D/K) | The code on the label of the device. You use it to add the device to your account. |
| Claim device | Καταχώρηση συσκευής | Adding a device to your account with the device key. See Claim a device with its Device Key. |
| Device Setup | Ρύθμιση συσκευής | The connection of the device to WiFi from the app. See Connect a device to WiFi. |
| Device Access Point | Hotspot της συσκευής | The WiFi network HAMXX_XXX that the device opens in setup mode. |
| LED | LED | The light on the device. See What the LED colours mean. |
| Probe | Αισθητήριο | The part that measures, for example the temperature cable. |
| Sensor | Αισθητήρας | The element in the probe or in the device that makes the measurement. |
| Reading | Μέτρηση | A value that the device measures, for example temperature or power. See Readings dictionary. |
| Output | Έξοδος | A channel that you control, for example a relay or a valve. |
| General input | Γενική είσοδος | An input for a contact, for example a door contact. You can change its name. |
| Alarm | Συναγερμός | The alarm of the device itself. It is not a rule. |
| Firmware | Λογισμικό | The software in the device. The Firmware section on the device page shows the version and the S/N. |
| Calibration | Βαθμονόμηση | The correction of a reading so that it agrees with a reference instrument. See Certifications and compliance. |
| Bluetooth (BLE) | Bluetooth (BLE) | A short-range wireless connection. BLE devices send readings through a HAM device or a tracker. |
| BLE Tag | BLE Tag | A small Bluetooth tag on a keychain or on an item. HAM devices hear it and find its presence. The product name is HAM BLE Tag. See HAM BLE Tag. |
| GPS tracker | Ιχνηλάτης GPS | A device for vehicles, with GPS position and a mobile connection. |
| Virtual device | Εικονική συσκευή | A device without hardware. Its readings come from your own system through the API. See Virtual devices. |
| online / offline | συνδεδ. / αποσυνδ. | If the device is connected to the cloud now. |
| Last online | Τελευταία σύνδεση | When the device was connected for the last time. |
| Signal strength | Ισχύς σήματος | The strength of the WiFi or mobile signal at the device. |

| Report | Αναφορά | A PDF or CSV file with the readings of a period. See Measurement reports (PDF, CSV). |
| Data | Δεδομένα | The page for reports from many devices. It is in the side menu. |
| Warnings | Προειδοποιήσεις | An icon on the device card when the app sees something unusual. |
| Access and Sharing | Κοινή χρήση | The section of the device page where you share the device with others. See Share devices. |
| Share | Διαμοιρασμός | The button that gives another account access to the device. |
| View, Control, Manage | Προβολή, Έλεγχος, Διαχείριση | The access levels: view only, control, full management. |
| Owner | Ιδιοκτήτης | The account that the device belongs to. |
| Guest | Επισκέπτης | A person without an account, with an access link for a limited time. See Guests and users. |
Rules and notifications

| Cloud rules | Κανόνες cloud | Rules that run in the HAM cloud. They send notifications. |

| Local rules | Τοπικοί κανόνες | Rules that run in the device. |
| Condition | Συνθήκη | The “if” part of the rule. See Conditions and timing. |
| Action | Ενέργεια | The “then” part of the rule, for example a notification or a command. |
| FOR | ΓΙΑ | How long the condition must be true before the rule triggers. |
| Threshold | Κατώφλι | The value that the condition checks. |
